Adult information · updated 12 August 2026
Privacy notice
We deliberately collect very little about the learner: no child email, no advertising profile and no sale of personal information.
Who controls the information
Nabil Abou-Rahme trading as Noble Progress
Unit 90168, PO Box 15113, Birmingham, B2 2NJ
maths@nobleprogress.com
Noble Progress is the trading name used by Nabil Abou-Rahme, a sole trader. The address above is the postal and service address for this business.
What we collect
- the adult's email address, sign-in and security records;
- an optional learner nickname, chosen avatar and saved lesson progress;
- answers, reflections and confidence choices submitted in lessons;
- AI review requests and the feedback returned;
- Stripe payment identifiers, amount, currency and payment status—we do not receive full card details; and
- essential technical logs needed to secure and operate the service.
Please do not put a child's full name, health information or other sensitive personal details into the nickname, reflections or AI review.
Why we use it
- Contract: to create the adult account, save learning progress, provide the purchased access and support the customer.
- Legitimate interests: to keep the service secure, diagnose faults and improve lesson usability with proportionate, minimal records.
- Legal obligation: to retain transaction and tax records and respond to lawful requests.
- Optional AI review request: when you or the adult account holder chooses to request a review, we process the submitted lesson evidence to provide that optional feature. You can use the lessons without requesting AI review.
AI feedback helps the adult and learner review a lesson. It does not make legal or similarly significant decisions about the child, and there is no behavioural advertising or automated learner ranking.
Who receives it
We use contracted service providers only for the functions needed to run the product. They receive the minimum information needed for their task and may process it only under their published terms and our instructions where they act as processors.
- Vercel hosts the website, server functions and protected application routes. See their privacy notice and subprocessor list.
- Neon, a Databricks company hosts the Postgres database containing adult, learner, progress, evidence, entitlement and payment records. See Neon's company information, Neon's Data Processing Agreement and the Databricks privacy notice.
- Resend sends adult sign-in codes, support messages and order confirmations. It receives the recipient email address and the message content needed for delivery. See their privacy policy and subprocessor list.
- Stripe hosts checkout and processes payment, transaction, fraud-prevention and refund information. We do not receive full card details. See the Stripe Privacy Center.
- OpenRouter and the selected AI model provider process the lesson evidence submitted for an optional bounded AI review. OpenRouter may route a request to an underlying model provider; the configured model and provider may change as the service is maintained. Do not enter a child's name or sensitive personal information into that request. See OpenRouter's privacy policy.
Some providers or their subprocessors may process information outside the UK. Before enabling live checkout, we record the relevant provider locations and transfer route. Where a restricted transfer occurs, we use UK adequacy regulations where available or an appropriate safeguard such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or UK Addendum, together with a proportionate transfer risk assessment where required. Provider terms and subprocessor lists can change, so this notice may be updated when the processing chain changes.
How long we keep it
Account and learner progress is kept while access is active and for up to 90 days afterwards, unless the adult asks for earlier deletion or we need a limited record to resolve a dispute. Payment and accounting records are retained for up to six years. Short-lived sign-in codes expire after 15 minutes; routine security logs are normally kept for no more than 90 days.
Cookies and automated decisions
The service uses essential cookies for adult sign-in and security, and local browser storage for the optional colour preference and offline resilience. Local storage is device-bound and is not encrypted by this service at rest, so use a trusted device. We do not use advertising cookies. We do not use the learner information for profiling or automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Your choices and rights
The adult can ask to see, correct, export or delete personal information, object to or restrict some uses, or complain about how it is handled by emailing maths@nobleprogress.com. Where the right to data portability applies, we will provide relevant information in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format; there is not currently a self-service export button.
Because the adult creates and manages the account, we will generally respond to rights requests from the adult. Where appropriate, we may also respond to a request made by or with the consent of the learner or their parent. If an adult asks us to delete an active account, deletion may end access to the service; it does not remove the 14-day cancellation right or other statutory rights, and we may retain payment or accounting records where the law requires it.
If we become aware of a personal data breach likely to result in a high risk to an individual's rights and freedoms, we will notify affected adults without undue delay and take the required regulatory steps. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
A short version for learners
Your grown-up makes the account. We save your chosen picture, optional nickname and where you have reached so you can carry on later. If you ask for AI feedback, the work on that page is sent to the feedback service. Do not type private information about yourself. We do not show you ads or sell your information. Ask your grown-up if you want to see or remove what has been saved.
